Who we are

Founded in 2025, the Louisville Metro Corrections Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for the brave men and women of the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. Our mission is to enhance the safety, well-being, and professional development of corrections employees by fostering a safe, respectful work environment.

We provide critical resources, training, and wellness support to empower our officers, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed in their vital role of protecting our community. Through charitable initiatives and community engagement, we strive to create positive change both within our department and in the neighborhoods we serve.

We recognize that corrections employees are integral to public safety and the community’s well-being. Together, with the support of our employees and the community, we work to elevate the standards of corrections work, ensuring every employee feels valued and empowered. Our efforts are aimed at strengthening partnerships, promoting professional growth, and making a lasting impact on both the lives of our officers and the citizens they serve.
